Welcome to this episode of the Travel, Pray, Slay podcast. I am excited because today’s podcast is an interview, and as you know we will have a mix of solo and interview podcasts with influencers and business owners in the travel lifestyle space.
I am so excited to have Brittany Amora with us today from Wanderful Boutique.
Brittany Amora is the founder and CEO of Wanderful Boutique. As an avid traveler, Brittany has visited many counties in search of adventure, fun, and the best places to shop. In 2019, the innovative entrepreneur merged her love of fashion and passion for travel to create this unique brand that caters to women on the go. It is her goal to help women build a wardrobe that is stylish and functional for all of life’s adventures and also create a community of travel fashionistas!

[02:37] Brittany shares about herself and what she loves most about travel.
[02:48] The vision for the boutique was merged from her passion for fashion and travel. The one thing she likes almost as much as going on the trip is figuring out what she is going to wear.
[06:42] Wanderful Boutique’s new spring collection is going to drop in March.
[08:02] The main theme for spring is versatile including dresses and fun jewelry.
[09:12] They will also be adding some new swimsuits and wet bikini bags for 2021.
[10:35] Brittany’s travel essentials are a small, but sturdy umbrella and versatile pair of shoes.
[12:45] Another of her travel essentials is compression socks, especially on a long flight. She recommends Tommie Copper or Gold Toe compression socks.
[14:36] She also brings a mini refresher make-up carry-on bag. In her refresher bag, she has a lip gloss, concealer, mascara, toothbrush, mouthwash, and a little brush.
[15:28] She also keeps a spare change of clothes in her carry-on based on what the climate is like where she lands. This can also be helpful if your luggage is delayed.
[16:03] Any time you travel make sure you have an extra set of clothes in your carry-on bag. Keep anything of value on your person.
[19:58] Toya tries to stay in a color theme with her clothes.
[22:10] Brittany likes to bring one or two “Do it for the Gram” outfits for taking pictures and dressing up.
[26:24] If you know you are going to be shopping, Brittany recommends bringing extra bags in your suitcase.
[29:30] If you are running late to the airport, put your receipts in a box and they will mail your luxury tax.
[30:38] For overseas trips, what are some items very unique to that place or made in that place that you will want to bring back.
[33:19] Now is a good time to take advantage of deals. If you can find a great day invest in timeless pieces that you can use for years to come. Add pops of color to your wardrobe.
[36:20] Find that one thing that makes you feel good even if you are in the house.
[38:33] Wherever you are, make it fun and be true to your authentic self and style.
