Is Travel The New Way to Secure A Bae?

Do Black Women need to consider traveling to find a mate? Why are we least likely to date outside our race? How can black women deal with the unfair stereotypes placed on them?

The new Bravo TV reality show, #ToRomeForLove chronicles the journey of five African- American women traveling to Rome, Italy to find love. On a recent episode of my podcast, Beauties and Banter, we discuss the premise of the show, and dating struggles and stereotypes black women face in America.

As someone who has traveled to Italy on vacation and dated outside my race, I had a lot to say about this topic.
